Eliya does not act his age, to say the least. Despite being one hundred and sixteen years old, Eliya has a very casual, jokester sort of attitude. Eliya often comes across as more simple and easily fooled than he really is, but it just so happens that underneath his colloquial facade, is a rather intelligent little mind.

Eliya has learnt a lot over the years, but his intelligence is best seen when it comes to social situations. He has what is classically referred to as ‘street smarts’ and has a passion for understanding people. Eliya likes to figure out what makes people ‘tick’, but more so he sees damaged or troubled people as a project to fix. Although he outwardly does not often give that impression, Eliya is a ‘fixer/rescuer’ at heart.

The vampire finds very little things stress or overwhelm him anymore. He has all eternity to live his life, nothing is worth stressing over, or at least that’s what he has come to believe over the past few decades. Eliya likes to take things as they come and is more than willing to adapt in order to keep himself amused and entertained.

It has become Eliya’s philosophy to simply enjoy all things that come his way. As such, Eliya has a preference for women, but also shamelessly enjoys men too. As far as he is concerned, both women and men (and all in between) are exciting and beautiful, so why not enjoy them all? He’d much rather that, than limit himself to only women or only men.

:: HISTORY ::

Eliya was born in a time where Italy was still a very young nation. Growing up in Milan saw Eliya develop an appreciation for beauty and culture, which only grew to develop more as Eliya matured over the years.

At the tender age of twenty-four, Eliya met a beautiful girl and intended to court her, however -so did most of the young men in Milan at the time. Eliya was not the wealthiest man, nor was he the youngest. Being twenty-four, he was starting to be considered rather old to be without a wife.

However, the woman took a liking to him, though not as a romantic intention. Eliya learnt very quickly how beautiful the human body could be and thus began to develop an appreciation and thirst for the human form. It began only with women and didn’t broaden for many years later.

Some months after meeting the captivating woman, Eliya learned of her true nature -she was a vampire. Shortly after, Eliya managed to convince her to turn him, however when he woke, she was nowhere to be seen.

Eliya then began the biggest murder spree of his life. With no guidance, Eliya stumbled into his new life with little care for anything other than his next feed. He became a slave to his bloodlust and was understandably driven out of his home country. Eliya was chased through France and well into Spain before he found someone willing to help him.

Thus begun Eliya’s training.

Ever since, Eliya has had a soft spot for helping new vampires adjust, to try and save them from being hunted down and slaughtered. Skip forward some time and Eliya found himself traveling through North America, where he met Yulia. The girl had been ill and Eliya made the mistake of trying to help her, but he’d come too late and she passed away.

Having sired her himself, Eliya took extra care of Yulia and stayed with her for many years. He taught her how to look after herself, but it was easier with two. Eliya and Yulia tried to engage in a romantic relationship, but it simply was not meant to be, so the two eventually parted, but on good terms.

Since Yulia decided to help others like Eliya did with her, the two often reached out to each other for extra support or assistance. As such, that was how Eliya had met Sienna, one of Yulia’s fledglings.

When Eliya received a call from Sienna, asking for assistance with multiple fledglings all at once, the older male couldn’t help but become curious. Naturally, he responded to the call and agreed to meet with Sienna.
