GENERAL OUT OF CHARACTER RULES
CHARACTER LIMIT
You can have as many characters as you think you can handle, just as long as you can keep them all active. Make sure you create one account per character. This makes it easier to keep track of who characters are and what topics they are involved with. If you use the same email address to make all your characters, you can easily swap between them by clicking this symbol in the bottom right hand corner of the screen.
MANNERS
Please don't take ‘In Character’ things personally, rivalries and hate between characters is completely fine, but flaming other members is not tolerable. Keep in mind that most players are generally nice people; despite the fact that your characters may hate each other, please do not take it out on the players. If staff find this rule breached (as in out of character fighting) both parties will be asked to address the situation and in the end, either both or one person will be warned, suspended or banned from the board until the staff see fit. Also, there is to be no discrimination against other players. If the staff hear of discrimination (such as cussing, racial, sexual or religious comments, as well as anything that personally offends the member in any way) the offender will be warned or banned depending on the severity of the action. If any sort of bigotry has happened to you, or you have seen it happen, please feel free to PM myself or a staff member.
No person, regardless of who they might be, has any right to insult members or staff. If you in anyway insult, offend, or cause problems for either group you will be deleted. As staff, we reserve the right to ban your Email, User Name, and IP Address.
ACTIVITY
If you know you’re not going to be on, please let us know. We understand that sometimes you can’t always give a warning, but it is most appreciated if you do. Any sort of heads up will be appreciated. We don’t like deleting members here, but after an extensive amount of time, your account may be deleted if we received no warning from you, so please let us know if you are going to be away for awhile.
On a slightly different note, if you have been inactive for some time without giving warning and your character/s have a leading or high position within a pack, clan or coven, you might come back and find your character has been replaced, or your character may have become a notable extra. If this is the case, your character will not be adoptable by anyone but you, should you return. Please note that as a notable extra, if the rest of the board saw fit, your character may have been sent out of town, removed from their position, etc. If that has happened and you want your character back, that is fine, but you will need to bring them back in appropriately. Of course we'd all like to avoid this happening, but these positions if taken, need to be kept active. So if you don't want this to happen to your character, make sure you give notice before leaving for a long period of time.
MINI PROFILE AND SIGNATURE IMAGES
There are two different images to consider here. Your avatar and signature. I will explain what you need to do for each one.
Avatar - This is your display picture within your mini profile. This image needs to be 150x150, or 150x200.
Signature - Please keep your signature image to within 700x400. Anything larger is at risk of stretching the page. If you notice a signature stretching your page, please let a staff member know. As far as we know, this size works for everyone, but if it doesn't we want to fix it and we can't if we don't know about it.
EXPERIENCE
This forum is open to anyone, whether they be beginners or advanced players. Everyone has to start out somewhere and we are happy to help you along the way if you're new. All we ask is that you follow our writing standards (explained below). We can help you if you are new to this sort of forum RPG.
IC and OOC – OOC (Out Of Character) writing within posts is acceptable, however if you are going to write out of character in your post, please make it obvious.
Eg. Using double brackets, (( out of character text...)) or OOC: ‘out of character text’ IC.... this just makes it easier to understand what is part of the post and what isn’t. I don’t mind what you use, just make sure it’s obvious.
GENERAL OUT OF CHARACTER RULES
Mactire Falls is an original writing forum, meaning that it is not purely based around a pre-existing fandom. You might notice that some of the lore is influenced by some popular sources, but ultimately the forum does not exist within the world of ‘Supernatural’, ‘Vampire Diaries’, ‘Teen Wolf’, etc. This means that each character made should be original and adhere to the lore of their species.
POST LENGTH
I know how hard it is sometimes to think of what to write. Trust me, you won’t be shunned for not being able to write a novel with each post, but please try to at least write two paragraphs per post. It can often be hard to avoid one liners, but it is even more difficult to reply to one. A little bit of detail makes it all that much easier. With this in mind, unless it has been established that the thread is ending, please keep the threads going. It is very difficult to respond to short statements.
EXTERNAL TEMPLATES
While we do have default character templates for you to use here on Mactire Falls, you are of course, more than welcome to use custom templates when making character applications, plotters, journals, threads, etc. All we ask, is that you include all the necessary details, information or requirements that we ask of you. For instance, when creating a new character, if you use a profile template, ensure you still include the information we ask for in our default applications.
DATE STAMPS
Since Mactire Falls operates in real time, you are required to include a date stamp at the beginning of each new thread. All you need to include is the month (or date if you wish to be that specific), time and weather of your thread. This makes it easier for other characters to respond as well.
Mactire Falls is set in Colorado, USA. Ensure you consider what season it is in the US before posting your date stamp. For instance, if you create a thread in July, it probably isn’t going to be snowing in Mactire Falls.
Additionally, ensure you try to only create new threads within the current, real time month. This allows everyone on the board to continue on fluently. You may post your thread on any date within that month, but keep it in that month. There are exceptions of course, so if you feel like you need to start a new thread following on from another for the previous month, just let us know, either in the chat box or via PM. We understand that sometimes it takes a long time to complete a thread, especially when multiple players and characters are involved. If you really need to start a new thread in a previous month, just keep us posted and it should be okay. Really, we just want things to move forward, so that everyone is free to keep posting in real time. With multiple characters stuck in previous months, it makes it hard to keep things current in real time.
Eg of a date stamp:
DATE: 4th of July, 2018
TIME: 8PM
WEATHER: Hot with a slight breeze
MULTIPLE CHARACTERS IN THE SAME THREAD
Since there is no limit to the amount of characters you could have, you might find that you will end up with a variety of your own characters within a thread. Since it can be quite taxing trying to write multiple points of view, we don’t expect you to respond with every character within a single thread. If you own multiple characters, you could pick one and do everything from their point of view. For instance, if you post as Larry, but have your other characters (Peter and Mary) in the thread, you could write from Larry’s point of view, including his thoughts and reactions and have Larry observe the way Mary and Peter respond, just like you would any other character that isn’t yours. The difference is that Mary and Peter belong to the same player, so it is okay for their actions to be controlled through Larry’s post.
An example:
Larry sat down beside Mary with a wide grin. The blonde girl turned to him with surprise, then smiled back. Larry liked Mary’s smile; it was his favourite feature about her.
“How’s your day been?” Mary asked casually.
“Fine,” Larry answered, trying to ignore the way Peter was scowling at them from afar. “It’s good to see you,” Larry added, unable to wipe the grin from his face as Mary made herself comfortable beside him.
In that instance, Larry’s thoughts were the only ones that were explained, though Mary and Peter’s actions were referenced there too. So long as you own those other characters, you’re more than welcome to do this, instead of writing multiple posts in the same thread from each character’s point of view.
MATURE CONTENT
Since Proboards can be quite strict with their rules around explicit or graphic material, we ask that you keep posts on the forum at a R17+ level. This means that you will need to censor any swearing and be vague about adult themes. Alternatively, if you really want to play out something specific, you may continue your thread in PMs, or create a Google Doc. You can be as graphic or explicit in your PM or GD. If you do move your thread to a PM or GD, please make note of this in the existing thread, so we know that it isn’t unfinished.
POSTING
Please post in the third person and please also used past tense. It just makes it easier to understand what is going on. However, first person and present tense posting is welcomed if you’re writing about your character’s thoughts, when your character is speaking or in 'out of character' chat.
GOD MODING
Please make sure you avoid god moding. God moding is making a character out to be perfect in every way. No character is 100% perfect, immortal or not. Nor can the character avoid every hit in a violent encounter. Make it fair.
Eg of God moding: Stella dodged every single one of Betty's attacks.
The Right way: Stella was a skilled fighter and exceptionally good at dodging; however, with the amounts of attacks Betty was sending her way, Stella could not dodge them all and wound up with a black eye.
Not the greatest example, but hopefully you get the point. If you don't, please contact a staff member so we can explain it to you. We would rather be asked the same question than have to tell someone off for god moding.
POWER PLAYING
Like God moding, there is to be absolutely no power playing! unless the other member gives you exact permission. Power play is when you control someone else’s character without their permission, to benefit you.
eg of Power playing: Tony swung his sword at Larry’s throat, cutting
it open and killing Larry.
or
Tony ran up to Larry and jumped on him, pushing Larry straight into the mud.
The right way: Tony swung his sword at Larry, aiming for the throat.
and
Tony leaped at Larry, aiming to shove him into the mud.
The Power playing examples showed Tony executing an attack and landing it without allowing Larry to respond. You cannot kill someone else's character without their permission. You also can not determine what happens or how their character will react. It's just like in real life. We can't control the people we interact with, we have to wait for their response.
With that being said, make sure you pick your battles. In no circumstances is it okay for member to kill another member's character without their permission, but do keep in mind that if your 15 year old human boy decided to get into a fist fight with a 500 year old vampire, they're probably not going to come out too well. As stated in the Species Guide, there is an explanation of each supernatural race's strength and weaknesses, so please, don't go picking fights your character wouldn't normally be able to survive.
Also on the note of powerplaying, if you are in contact with the other player out of character and decide on who is going to win a fight, that they can control your character briefly to quickly move things along, etc, then that is okay. Sometimes it is easier to just let the other play know that they can assume your character has stepped into the house after they have been invited inside, just to save time posting. If we see these sorts of instances occurring, the staff is going to assume that this has been agreed upon by both players. If that is not the case, please address it with the other player. It may have been a simple misunderstanding. If the problem is not resolved, then contact a staff member and we will sort it out. Additionally, if we feel like it seems less convenient and more like powerplay, then we will PM all players involved and check that things are running smoothly.
At the end of the day, just make sure you don’t control someone else’s character or their reactions unless you have their permission.
PETS
Your characters can have pets. eg cats, dogs, lizards etc. Nothing like enchanted unicorns or dragons though, and no odd colours (unless agreed by a staff member) like a pink dog with green ears. Also, try and keep it realistic, so no humans with a pride of lions in their backyard for example. However, if you had a very good reason for your character owning an elephant for example, then by all means, go ahead, but staff members have the ability to request your pet be changed or removed if it isn’t justified.
SUPERNATURAL SECRECY
Generally speaking, humans are unaware of the supernatural world. On average, each race tries to avoid exposure, since humans greatly outnumber all the supernatural races combined. Because of this, it is likely that most human characters either created or encountered will be completely unaware that supernatural beings exist. Therefore, you need to explain quite explicitly why and how your human knows about the supernatural world if you make one. If your human character is told by another character IC, then that is fine and makes sense, but if you make a character that just happens to know all about the supernatural world with no explanation as to how or why, then you may be asked to either provide an explanation or change your profile/post.
Likewise, if your character knows great details about supernatural origins or details that is not common knowledge, then again you need to explain how and why. For instance, not all witches would know who the first original witch was. Likewise, a newly turned vampire wouldn't suddenly know all there is to know about being a vampire. Make sure you take this into consideration before making your characters.
VAMPIRE CLANS*
There is currently one resident vampire clan (The Blake Clan) in Mactire Falls which is already available to join if your character feels like living within a big family. There is also a visiting vampire clan (The Thraeston Clan) that your character could be a part of if you so chose. Your character however is by no way expected to join or be part of a clan, nor do you have to make that decision at the beginning. You may have you character join or leave whenever you please. You would want to set up some sort of meeting with the clan leaders to discuss your character’s ability to join. Also, if you feel your vampire belongs to a group, but not something as big as one of the two clans, feel free to band together with other vampires. They technically won't be a 'clan' so to speak, but more of a group or band. A band of vampires will not have an estate, but will need to find their own place to live, whether it be an apartment, in the woods, etc. Just remember, bands of vampires can be created, but no more clans which are native to Mactire can be created at this time (note: this could be subject to change depending on future plotlines). If you want to be part of a clan, you'd be best to join either the Blake or the Threaston clans.
WEREWOLF PACKS*
It is generally more common for werewolves to form packs, whether they be big or small. It is normally considered quite unnatural for werewolves to choose to be rogues, but it has been known to happen. Generally most werewolves are suspicious of rogues, so they are not often welcomed warmly. Rogues also tend to be the types to try and challenge an alpha for the pack.Again, do not feel as if you have to have your character join a pack.
There is currently one main werewolf pack in Mactire Falls - Loup Pack. This pack resides within the Shadow woods and has their own pack roster and routine. If your interested in having your character join, you would need to arrange a meeting with one of the alphas -Kai or Seath.
WITCH COVENS*
Generally, witches/warlocks tend to keep themselves within their own family. Each grimoire is specific to the family or even the witch themselves. it is not unheard of, but witches don't usually create/join covens with other witches they don't know well. It isn't uncommon for witches to be on their own either. Many are protective of their grimoires and are reluctant to share their spells or powers.
* – These groups may change depending on activity levels of members and 'in character' politics. If you are unsure of what is happening, please do not hesitate to contact a staff member for assistance.
CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT/DEATH
Provided you stick to the Species Guide in regards to how people turn/become a different species, you're more than welcome to have your character turn after creating their profile. For example, your human -Bob- may run into some vampires and the opportunity to be turned presents itself to you. You're fine to do this, just if you do, make sure you update your character's profile and let a member of staff know. This is just so it will be easier to keep track of everyone's characters.
Likewise, if your character dies, please let a staff member know so we can move your character profile to the graveyard. Again, this is to help keep track of the characters on the forum.
WRITING STANDARDS
Mactire Falls is an open forum, but we do have higher standards for submitted writing. Our level is intermediate-advanced, and we expect the quality of our members’ posts to reflect that. We have the right to turn away any hopeful members that do not meet our standards of writing, and you will be judged and accepted based upon the quality of your first character profile, so make sure that it is written to the best of your abilities.
We expect the following:
1. Correct grammar
2. Good sentence structure.
3. Well-written, original characters
4. Good character development/arcs
5. A lack of OOC (out of character, the author) presence within the IC (in character, the character) post.
6. Consideration to other members’ characters within each shared post.
7. Realistic consequences to actions.
8. Realistic consideration to the world of Mactire.
9. Posts are expected to be at least two paragraphs long with the exception of combat posts.
CORRECT GRAMMAR AND GOOD SENTENCE STRUCTURE
Yes, yes, I’m sure that this is a no-brainer. We like our periods at the end of sentences, quotation marks encompassing dialogue, commas before coordinating conjunctions, etc.
This isn’t such a hard-lined rule to follow, as we all make mistakes from time to time. Things such as missing a semicolon in a sentence, forgetting to capitalize a proper noun, and basic small mistakes are easily forgiven. Our basic rule of thumb is that so long as the sentence is comprehensible, it is perfectly okay to make the odd mistake.
However, if a post has to be looked at sideways, squinted at, or if ‘huh?’ follows after reading it, the post will be noted. In these cases, a staff member will send a private message that will include a full proof-reading; you will be expected to edit your post using the proof-read as a guide. If the bulk of your posts have to be edited, you as a writer may need more practice before you can be accepted on the forum, and you will be told as much.
Again, the quality of your writing doesn’t have to be perfect, but we do expect you to put in just as much effort as we do in creating this ongoing story.
An example:
Frank had nowhere to run because he was cornered, his panic was rising quickly and yet there was nothing he could do except wait for the dark stranger to come closer.
VS
Frank had nowhere to run he was cornered, panicking quickly, and nowhere could run he stood there and waited.
In the above example, the first sample would be accepted even though it was not grammatically perfect. The second would be rejected. It is all a simple matter of effort.
You don’t have to be an expert writer, you just have to try. Always give your posts at least one read-through before hitting that ‘reply’ button, use a thesaurus, read it aloud to yourself to make sure that you are actually typing comprehensible English.
WELL-WRITTEN AND ORIGINAL CHARACTERS/ARCS/DEVELOPMENT
Characters are, obviously, extremely important to the forum. Without them, we would have no story and therefore, no forum. They are the basis on which we operate as a community that makes a combined effort to write a good story from multiple points of view.
Characters should be written as real people. Put yourself in their shoes, think deeply on how your unique character would react to certain events, people, and dialogue. Over time, your character will evolve and change through things such as relationships, plots, and exposure to different stimuli just like a real person. Mary-Sues are a sure-fire way to have a boring character that nobody wants to interact with.
We want you to take time to create your characters. By all means, have an inspiration for them, but do not make a carbon copy of a character that has already been created in the real world. For example, you can create a character who holds similar values to Ned Stark, but don’t create a character named Ned Stark from Siberia with a personality that is copied from a Game of Thrones character analysis.
Do not make primary characters simply to give your main character a fling. If you need supporting characters for any reason, please use the secondary character applications.
OOC/IC MIXING
This is a big no-no on the forum. Your characters are not psychic, there is absolutely no way that your character would know what is going on in the other character’s head regardless of how much you wish it.
A good example of separation between IC and OOC:
The character Frank is a naive, well-to-do sort of man who takes things at face value and likes to believe the best of others.
The character Larry is a selfish, manipulative, intelligent character who enjoys taking advantage of people.
____
Frank was walking down the street when he spotted a man in a top-hat standing on the corner. Since the optimistic man had nothing to do for the afternoon, he thought that he might say hello to the enigmatic-looking fellow.
____
Larry glanced an approaching figure from the corner of his eye as he took another drag from is cigarette. A quick analysis of the person coming toward him gave the sly man reason to believe that this poor soul might amuse him while he waited on the bus.
__
“Afternoon,” Frank quipped as he sidled up to the taller figure, “bit hot for a top hat, wouldn’t you say?”
The accompanying smile that split Frank’s mouth was welcoming and warm, encouraging conversation and openness to those it met.
___
Now, in the above example, Frank had no idea that Larry was thinking about messing with him and so acted as he normally would have, which was to smile and engage in friendly small-talk.
A bad example of separation between IC and OOC:
“Afternoon,” Larry quipped with a charming grin as the shorter man arrived beside him.
__
“Afternoon,” said the man in the top-hat with a deceiving smirk. Frank stopped beside the taller man and scowled, not willing to put up with yet another who would seek to use Frank’s good-will to their advantage.
“Don’t even try that on me, I know your game,” Frank hissed.
___
This is an example on what not to do. Frank had no way of knowing that Larry was about to mess with him, and so realistically would not have become aggressive when Larry spoke to him. If Frank had legitimate prior knowledge about Larry, that would have been different. If, throughout their exchange, Larry was not subtle at all when he messed with Frank, that would be a different story.
Do not let your knowledge as a writer influence what your characters know about the world and the people around them. They will not know another character’s deep secrets, hidden agendas, past experiences, etc.
OOC does play an important role in IC writing, but it is always addressed out of character. For example, if you would like for your character to react a certain way but you aren’t sure how well it would work out in regards to the goal you are trying to achieve, talk with the person you are writing with out of character and come up with a good game plan. Discuss an outline, things you want to see happen, work with one another, but don’t do it through your characters.
CHARACTER CONSIDERATION
Your character is not the protagonist.
Let me repeat that: your character is NOT the protagonist.
Narcissistic writing is not against the rules, but it is incredibly obnoxious and will ensure that people do not want to interact with your characters.
Every character is the protagonist. That means that in a post, the focus should be on each character, and not just one. Actions and observations do not revolve around your little darlings and if you would like special attention paid to your characters, you need to give special attention as well. A good way to do this would be to consider how your character feels about the other characters, what your character sees and perceives and thinks about the other characters. If everybody does this, then everybody’s characters will be of equal importance.
Here is a good example of character consideration:
SammySue writes:
Frank was wearing a striped shirt and black chinos. His outfit gave off a very put-together and neat impression. As he approached the man on the corner, Frank ran a confident hand through his sleek blonde hair, perfectly quaffed and free of flyaways despite the humidity beating down upon his tanned skin.
___
TammySue writes:
Larry glanced side-long at the approaching man, taking note that he looked quite well-groomed in spite of the stifling heat. His eyes tracked the smooth movement of the blonde man’s hand as it ran through sunshine-colored strands and for a brief moment, Larry was struck with the impression that the man in the striped shirt was intent on talking to him. After all, he was approaching Larry with a great amount of confidence and self-assurance.
Larry was also wearing a striped shirt that did not match the pink and yellow checked kilt riding upon his narrow hips, nor did it match the puke-green top hat resting upon his red hair. Usually, people didn’t freely walk up to Larry and begin conversations because he came across as completely bizarre. The redheaded man narrowed his eyes suspiciously at the approaching blonde and hurriedly looked away in the hopes that he would get the hint and leave him alone.
___
SammySue wrtes:
“Afternoon,” said Frank as he sidled up to the quirky-looking redhead, “bit hot for a top hat.”
Honestly, Frank was more drawn to speak to the oddly dressed man because of his manner of dress. There must be something inherently interesting about him. With the way the redhead was practically glaring at Frank, the blonde could only assume that the taller man was using his outward appearance as a defence mechanism. He seemed like a wild soul at first glance, but the expression he wore told a different story; maybe this man wasn’t wild or outgoing, but rather extremely shy and unwilling to speak to others.
___
Now, both characters were given equal consideration by each writer. Both authors highlighted things and acknowledged things in turn, having each character focus on the other rather than themselves.
Here is a bed example of character consideration:
SammySue writes:
Frank was wearing a striped shirt and black chinos. His outfit gave off a very put-together and neat impression. As he approached the man on the corner, Frank ran a confident hand through his sleek blonde hair, perfectly quaffed and free of flyaways despite the humidity beating down upon his tanned skin.
___
TammySue writes:
Larry glanced side-long at the approaching blonde man and rolled his eyes because the intent focus the other man gave Larry indicated that he was going to start a conversation. Larry hated talking to strangers.
Larry was wearing a striped shirt that did not match the pink and yellow checked kilt riding upon his narrow hips, nor did it match the puke-green top hat resting upon his red hair. Usually, people didn’t freely walk up to Larry and begin conversations because he came across as completely bizarre. The redheaded man narrowed his eyes suspiciously at the approaching blonde and hurriedly looked away in the hopes that he would get the hint and leave him alone.
Do you see the difference? TammySue didn’t acknowledge SammySue’s character outside of the fact that he was approaching her character. She gave a very brief impression of the other character and put all of the focus on her own character, as if Frank was a secondary character in Larry’s story rather than both characters being of equal importance in a story for all characters. Not only is this annoying, but the replying writer may then return the favor by making Larry a secondary character in Frank’s story, and thus the flow of the thread is completely ruined and the characters have no chemistry in their interactions.
It makes for very boring reading and when replying, will make the other write feel as if it is a chore.
So remember, give consideration to other characters. Pretend that the story is about their characters, not yours, and they will give you the same consideration.
REALISTIC CONSEQUENCES/CONSIDERATION
On the forum and in character, your characters will sometimes do and say things that will clash with the world outside of them, just like in the real world. One of our top priorities with telling this story is realism. Although we deal with fantastical lore and things that don’t actually exist, we like to keep the basic laws of society within character.
You can’t willy-nilly have your characters running around causing chaos unless you are prepared to have your characters also deal with real-world consequences. This means jail time, for those that break the law and get caught, this means that you can’t go around flirting with other people’s love interests unless your prepared for the other character to find out and want to confront your characters.
When it comes to realistic consequences and consideration, think very hard about what could come of having your little darlings do something that conflicts with the world at large. Discussions should be had with other writers, and communication is key in cooperation.
A good example of realistic consideration:
TammySue writes:
Okay, so Larry is a total butt to everybody he meets, but I think that him and Frank could make a good team if they can get past the initial meeting and become buddies. So, since Frank is this confident, happy type, I think that it would be a good idea for you to have him just push past Larry’s abrasive dialogue. Larry will be aggressive at first, but Frank can wear him down pretty quickly.
___
SammySue writes:
Okay, yeah, we can totally do that. It’s a good thing that it’s Frank talking to Larry and not Mary, otherwise this wouldn’t work out so well.
___
A bad example of realistic consideration:
TammySue writes:
Okay, posted Larry!
___
SammySue writes:
Kay
___
(The thread turns into a fight and TammySue wonders where it went wrong)
___
Just remember that every action will have a reaction and if you have any sort of drama that you want to write, or an abrasive/aggressive character, talk it out with your fellow writers and make sure that everybody is happy and can deal with the consequences. Work it out with one another.
A big consideration to take into account is the in-character laws.
We have certain community leaders among the supernatural population, and their word is how the town is run. Realistically, if you break the law, you have to be punished for it. In saying that, don’t be surprised if your character gets kicked out of a pack, clan, business, or the town as a whole for doing something and getting caught for it. Again, if it is necessary to drama or a character arc, make sure to discuss what you are about to do with those involved to make sure that everybody is on the same page.
POSTS
As stated above, we would like to see at least two paragraphs per post, though we also understand that sometimes you just need to type out a quick reply to keep the thread moving. Things such as combat threads and fly-by posts are understandable and nobody will mind them every once in a while. However, the bulk of your posts should be thought-out and should have a good amount of effort put into them. Put some expression, inward thought, outward action, and reflection in your posts as well as dialogue.
It is fairly easy to follow the rules here on the forum, and as long as you strive to be the best writer you can be, the writing standards are pretty easy to meet.
