Sienna Rose Giordano Female True Age of 49 || Appears 22 Heterosexual American and Brazilian Camila Mendes Play by Lani | Appearance
With black hair, incredibly dark brown eyes, soft cheek bones and a thin lipped smile, Sienna is often described as cute, sweet and innocent. Considering she was turned when she was 22 years of age, Sienna is often mistaken for still being in her late teens.
Sienna favours wearing her hair out, letting it sit generally around shoulder length. Sienna also prefers to wear clothing that is more formal than casual by nature, opting for dresses and skirts more than jeans. Sierra is also rarely ever seen without a deep red lipstick and dark eye shadow that further gives her the appearance of having doe-eyes.
Personality
Sienna was once a quiet and lonely girl, who had always carried the weight of causing her mother's death in child birth. Though her father raised her all the same, the resentment Sienna felt shaped her into a tentative girl who's sole wish was to please others. Sienna could once be described as submissive too. Ever since her turning though, Sienna has come out of her shell. Gone was the quiet, skittish girl and in her place stood a strong, confident vampire. Sienna soon discovered her ability to convince others to listen to her all through the use of some choice words.
Additionally, Sienna is incredibly loyal to those who earn it. Ever since becoming a more self-assured woman, Sienna was not quick to trust. As a result, if her trust is earned and then broken, it is not easily restored. Sienna does not forgive easily and will ice out anyone who betrays her, should they be so lucky.
Lastly, Sienna came to adore her sire's personality and demeanour and strived to achieve the same character for herself. Sienna always aimed to be kind, especially to those who were often cast aside.
History
Sienna grew up in Oregon with her father, who immigrated from Italy. Her mother was born in Idaho, not that Sienna really knew anything about her. Sienna only felt pain at the thought of her mother, who died in child birth. The last words her mother spoke, was her daughter's name, which Sienna's father honoured. Sienna found comfort knowing that her mother still contributed to her as a person, before being taken away. It did not do much to ease Sienna's pain though.
Otherwise, Sienna had a very ordinary life. Sienna moved out of home after completing high school and studied a bachelor of human relations. Sienna enjoyed college life, mainly because it meant she could leave her father. It was also when she met Yulia. Sienna was never really friends with Yulia, who was easily the most beautiful woman Sienna had ever seen. With dark, smouldering eyes, full lips, curves and rich, chocolate hair, Yulia drew the attention of everyone around her. She was always surrounded by popular girls and swooning men, which meant Sienna stayed clear of their group. Even though she was free of her father's scrutiny, Sienna's desire to stay out of the spotlight was still heavily entrenched in her.
However, it seemed that Yulia had taken an interest in Sienna. Although many people wished to be in Yulia's inner circle, she graciously brushed them off. Soon enough, those around the college began to realise that Yulia was befriending the less popular and rejected students. Sienna happened to fall into that category.
Initially, Sienna was not interested in Yulia's friendship, even though a part of her screamed to be accepted. She did not trust that Yulia had admirable intentions. Sienna wondered if it was some cruel joke or sorority initiation task; befriend the losers and humiliate them. Sienna soon learnt that Yulia was not just interested in getting to know her, but others in the same demographic. Soon, Yulia's posse grew with additional students who had never been given any positive attention in their social academic life. What was most bizarre though, was that these people went from being rejected freaks, to stunning, confident members of the college. Sienna couldn't help but wonder at how Yulia could boost the popularity of those around her so easily.
Curiosity got the better of Sienna eventually, as well as a yearning to be accepted. Eventually, Sienna agreed to be friends with Yulia. For weeks, it was pretty normal as far as friendships went. Yulia was unnaturally kind and considerate, and seemed to legitimately want to know about those around her. Sienna found herself very quickly pouring her soul to Yulia, who listened and responded gently. Once Sienna had said everything there was to say about her relationship with her father and the tragic passing of her mother, Yulia made an offer that changed Sienna's life completely.
Through Yulia, Sienna learnt that vampires were real. Yulia showed Sienna her sharp fangs and promised that life could be better, if she wanted it to be. Yulia didn't make Sienna decide immediately. Instead, she answered any questions or concerns Sienna had, then let her on her way. At first, Sienna was terrified of the idea. She was not sure she could even survive the lifestyle. Just as Sienna thought she was settled on the idea of declining the offer, one of the students was shot during a drug bust and later died in hospital. Why it impacted Sienna, was because the victim was not even part of the scandal. They had simply been in the wrong place at the wrong time and was killed by a stray bullet.
Although Sienna did not know the victim personally, the realisation that life was so fragile, meant that Sienna became open to the idea of turning. With another conversation with Yulia to ensure it was definitely what Sienna wanted, Yulia began the process. When Sienna awoke, Yulia got to work on training her, making sure she could fit into normal life without falling victim to her urges. The blood lust was far stronger than Sienna could have ever thought.
Life continued to improve for Sienna. Only once Yulia was convinced Sienna could control herself, did she step away from her. Initially, Sienna was not pleased with the idea of not having Yulia as a constant part of her life. She wanted to stay with Yulia and was fearful of going out into the world alone. Yulia promised her that she would be fine and that she would not experience what life had to offer a vampire if she stayed with Yulia. Her sire did not disclose why she did what she was doing, but told Sienna that her purpose was to make life better for those who could handle it.
Since Sienna could not join Yulia, she decided to follow in her footsteps. Sienna had come to understand that controlling her bloodlust was a constant battle that only seemed to get marginally better with time. She understood that being a vampire was not a good option for everyone, but still learnt about it in a difficult way.
The first vampire Sienna sired was a fifteen-year-old boy who was being abused at home. Sienna approached him one night when his father had kicked him out of the house. She had heard him sobbing in the alleyway and gone to his aide. The boy was hurt, frightened and incredibly angry. In hindsight, Sienna realised ignoring his anger was the fatal mistake she had made. At the time, what she saw was a scared boy who needed help. She took him back to her home, gave him a warm meal and made a bed for him on the couch. The boy was grateful, but when she woke the next morning, he had already left, taking some of her possessions with her.
Sienna found him again at the closest pawn shop, trying to get cash for her items. When he saw her, he tried to run, but she stopped him. Still, Sienna wanted to help him. She took him back to her home and gave him some money, before sitting him down to talk. The boy was still so full of anger and was trying to run away. He did not want to go back to his parents, nor did he want her pity.
Understanding that he would not accept her help forever, Sienna present her offer to turn him. At first, the boy was sceptical, but Sienna showed him her fangs and gave him a spiel very similar to the one Yulia had given her. The boy eventually calmed down and became interested in the idea and agreed full-heartedly. Again, Sienna realised later that she would have seen the warning signs then. None of Yulia’s vampires had ever accepted the offer immediately.
Sienna turned the boy and began teaching him how to control his bloodlust. He struggled with control and Sienna realised she did not have enough experience to show him how to control himself. She did her best though, but could see that he had a harder time than she did at the beginning. Trying to do what was best for the boy, Sienna suggested he stick to blood bags. She showed him how to acquire them without detection, which he took to worryingly well.
After a few months, Sienna felt that he was ready to go about his own way. With little more than a ‘thanks’, the boy left. That night on the news, there was a report of two brutal murders. Sienna realised who the victims were, they were the boy’s parents. Sienna rushed out and tried to find her wayward vampire. His mess was easy enough to follow but hard to resist. Sienna had not even been a vampire for two years at that point. When she found the boy, he was draining another victim without mercy.
Sienna confronted the boy, but he simply tried to attack her. He’d never had any intention to stay hidden. He did what he had to, to make Sienna let him go. He had always had every intention to massacre those who had wronged him. Sienna was left with no choice and eventually drove a broken broom handle through his heart.
Sienna did her best to clean up the mess, trying to make the death look like an act of self-defence. She knew her home was not safe for her though, so picked up her things and left the state before the night was out.
After that, Sienna spent most of her time travelling. She created strategies to use to assess people and studied psychology where possible. Sienna also took small jobs in quiet towns, never staying longer than a year at a time.
Sienna was still passionate about helping others, but began focusing on those who seemed lost. She invested a lot more time into those who she flagged as needing help and tried turning people again. She regained her confidence when her second vampire -Nicolette- turned out to be quite a remarkable woman once turned. Sienna saw a lot of her old self in Nicolette and found it was a lot easier to help the girl find herself.
As a vampire, Nicolette joined the medical profession, but quickly had to leave. She learned that it was too difficult to resist curing sick patients with her blood and she did not want people to start asking difficult questions. At the same time, she hated seeing people suffering.
After Nicolette went on her own way, Sienna continued to travel. For years, she spent time with small vampire clans and helped those who needed it, before moving on again. Only once, did Sienna consider settling down and that was when she eventually swept into Colorado in 2000. Sienna had heard whisperings of vampires co-existing with werewolves and was too intrigued to ignore such a place. Only a month after breezing into Mactire Falls, Sienna met the local vampire clan leader, Ruth Blake.
After meeting Ruth and being taken back to the clan, Sienna discovered the miracle of vampire children. Sienna had asked Yulia after she had been turned if she would ever be able to have children and Yulia had seemed to believe that it was not possible. However, Sienna met Alex and Lexy and learned that they had been born vampires. Realising there was a part of life that was open to her again, Sienna considered settling down in Mactire, knowing that vampires and werewolves were no enemy to each other then, or at least so it seemed.
Sienna worked closely with the Blakes for three years, becoming the vampire in charge of recruitment for the clan. Sienna was still able to satisfy her desire to travel, often leaving town for weeks on end to gather intel for the Blakes, while simultaneously looking for potential vampires for the clan.
When the fighting began in Mactire Falls, Sienna was in Michigan, having heard of a small band of vampires who were constantly being hunted by werewolves. When news that Ruth Blake had been killed reached Sienna, she felt lost for the first time since she was turned. She had honestly thought she had found purpose in her life again, only to have it taken away from her.
With no clan and no purpose, Sienna did not return to Mactire Falls. More rumours spread across the country’s supernatural population. Some witch had obliterated the town and left no trace of supernatural activity. Before long, Sienna turned back to following after Yulia. For years, Sienna helped and trained people, before sending them on their way.
By chance, Sienna found herself in Wyoming in 2015 and heard rumours of activity in Mactire Falls. It seemed that whatever had prevented supers from returning had shifted and many supers were intrigued to see what all the fuss was about. Unable to resist, Sienna made her way back to the small town.
It appeared that the rumours had been true. Supers were filing back into the town and it seemed that somehow the werewolf, Aiden had managed to stay. Sienna could only imagine that it had something to do with witches -in general- preferring wolves to vampires. Regardless, the alpha male had hardened in the years since she had last seen him, but had passed on information to her that made her heart leap. The Blakes were back.
Sienna was at the door of the refurbished manor house in an instant and was welcomed by Alex and Lexy with open arms. The three caught up on everything that had happened and Sienna was given her old role back. The only difference was, Alex preferred new recruits be pre-existing vampires, not turned. Sienna did her best to uphold Alex’s wishes, but both she and Alex knew that Sienna had a personal goal to always help those who needed it. The two came to a mutual agreement that Sienna continues to only turn if absolutely necessary.
Since being back with the Blakes, Sienna would travel across the country if needed, doing anything that she was asked. On occasion, Sienna would return home with a vampire that would support the Blake cause. Most of the time, she came home with news of what was happening in other states, having offered refuge to vampires who needed to escape their homes.
