As of January 1st 2015, Mactire Falls will be implementing what is known as a date stamp. What this is, is a small acknowledgement of the month the thread takes place. The member who creates the thread will include this at the top of the first post.
The code for the date stamp will be as such:
The time and weather do not need to be too specific. It would be completely reasonable to say TIME: Mid afternoon, WEATHER: Raining for example.
Once date stamps are in effect, any threads that are posted in February real time for example, will be during February on Mactire Falls. This is just so the site can keep a pace going. Any threads that have been created before that month, can still be posted on, as it is often quite difficult to start and finish a large thread within a month. The main difference will be that no more threads can be posted with a date/month before the current month. Eg I can't start a thread for Christmas in March 2015. I could continue posting on a thread that was posted at Christmas time though.
What this means for members now:
You may start date stamping threads now if you wish, but they won't be compulsory until January next year.
December and January will be our grace period. I know some members have a lot of plans for the end of the year and with Christmas and the holiday season rapidly approaching, I understand some of you might be hard pressed to get threads started before January. If that is going to be the case, please PM me. I want Date Stamps in full effect by January, but I am allowing some time to adjust in January too. If in January, you desperately need threads to be placed in December, I'm sure it will be fine, but I need to know first.
In February, all threads that are created that month will be in February on Mactire Falls.
Again, any threads that are pre-existing can still be worked on, no problems, just be aware that if your thread is preventing other characters from being able to post in up to date threads, that you might need to speed things up a bit. Obviously you can only post when you have time to, and that is more than reasonable. We all have lives outside Mactire Falls and I understand that. It might just mean prioritising older threads over new ones to try and get them done or establishing a rough conclusion to the thread out of character so that you can still write in the thread at your leisure, but also free to post in more recent threads.

TIME:
