:: PERSONALITY ::
When he was young Aiden was the model of calm affection and charm. A keen smile from him made the girls giggle, and he reveled in the affection of fans cheering in the stands. As a young adult he was a strong moral character who always strove to do things the right way. Violence wasn't the answer it was a last result, but Meg's death murdered that young man. He is nothing but a brutal cold shell of the creature he once was. Anyone who doesn't obey is likely to get their head smashed to the ground, and anyone willing to threaten his pack winds up in a body bag. When dealing with humans he is cold at best, and an utter dick at his worse. He wants nothing more to bring peace to a world that utterly destroyed his happiness, and no one can be trusted to do it but him.
Addition: in regard to his pack. Those whom mind their manners and live civilly with the other species are treated with a distant gruffness. He is a stoic man in his times of quiet, when the world is not bursting at the seams and memories of all-out war are not wrenching him from his sleep. Pups however, are another matter altogether. In the years following her death he could think of nothing but the life lost to him and his mate. Youngsters are a strange outlet, where small shards of the old Aiden can be seen in action, and when he tends to them a small reprieve form his pain is achieved.
:: HISTORY ::
Aiden was one of three born to the ruling alpha female and male of the original Seluth Clan. I'alach Mavro and Seath Loup. The youngest of the three never managed to take its first breath and from that point Latch and his mate protected the two remaining with all the ferocity you'd expect from extremely violent canine creatures. From a young age the twins proved to be very different from one another in key personality traits. Aiden was always quieter, shyer, and prone to tucking his tail or hiding behind his mother in most situations. While his sister charged forward as if she were bullet proof. It was only in his mindless pursuit to keep up with her, and torment her as brothers should that the young pup ever managed to crack out of his shy aloof shell.
The traits often associated with Alphas did not actually begin to show themselves in Aiden until pubescence. High school was a new breed of animal, and it demanded that Aiden adapt. Social structure, classes, sports teams.. girls.. It was all fuel to his testosterone overloaded brain. The need for an outlet was evident- making him seek out sports teams. Track and Football met the demand and he quickly developed a small hierarchy composed of the members of the boy’s varsity teams. Never one to outright result to violence Aiden's sheer size and developing muscle meant he rarely had to speak louder than a soft musing tone to make others listen and do as he pleased.
There were only a few people who could make him do anything, and the two who most ruled his world during this time were his twin Saiche and her best friend Meg Louise Winchester... When it came to his sister it was obvious why he was at her beck and call, that he would do anything to defend her, but when it came to Meg. It was different. She made his palms sweaty, his heart always seemed to be trying to bust its way out of his chest, and the scent of any male on her left the hair on his body standing on end. The times he nearly put some morons head though a locker or wall was rather high when it came to Meg. It was lucky his sister was always around to keep him in check during those chaotic years of his life.
Now, no one would have ever called Aiden a moron; though his sister may have called him thick skilled from time to time, but for years Aiden was lost as to why Meg made him feel the way she did. It took a massive party, his sisters prodding, and seven minutes in heaven to get it to click. She was his everything, and he had every intention of living happily ever after with the beautiful little Hybrid. It took a bit of convincing when it came to the male that she was currently dating but it was well worth the struggle. They dated the rest of their high school years, and they were the happiest he'd known.
Graduation came far to quickly, and with it the time to put his own plans into action. He wanted to be everything his pack and the love of his life could need, but he didn't feel like he could be that person hanging out in their little town for the rest of his life. With a heavy heart, and weeping family at his heels he left Mactire Falls. It was a long year and a half. He moving ever Northward and meeting strange and wonderful creatures along the way. Though endless in its freedom and adventure, the journey was brutal the further he pushed North. In the frozen wasteland near the Arctic Circle Aiden nearly lost his life. The endless bleakness though, offered up one kindness. Rouge named Ivan- the boy was scrawny and more than a little raggedy looking but he knew how to survive and he pulled Aiden from deaths maw. In return for his strength and to return the debt that was owed Aiden brought the smaller male home to the Falls as his brother..
From the pan to the fire, Aiden's return home was met with explosive joy from all his family members, but things had not been quiet in his time away. New rouges were causing chaos, a war bubbling just under the surface that his parents were all tangled up in, and worse of all. The love of his life miscarrying. Meg. He'd left her without knowing the situation he was living her in, and the burden of the situation weighed him down with guilt. They hadn't just lost a pup, she had lost hope, and he nearly lost her. It took much convincing but eventually the reality of their situation being more his fault then hers drew her from the edge. He knew the only way to make it up to her was to spend the rest of his life lavishing her with his love and adoration. The happiest moment of his life was when she agreed to being his forever. The wedding bound them in the eyes of the law, and their marks at each other’s necks bound them in blood. It was an advantageous marriage for Seluth Pack and Blake Clan. Wolves and Vampires bound to each other by love rather than hate.
Strange and beautiful as it was, Demetrius- a name that had haunted the Seluth Packland's from his youth; rose up and called his parents into action against the Blake Clan. Never was a town so mixed up in its division and loyalty. Wolves with vampires fighting vampires with wolves. All-out war was the only answer it seemed and in the chaos no one noticed the Hag. The explosion she caused was blinding, and painful in ways Aiden had not known were possible. It had hurled his body outward with its force and the impact knocked him unconscious. It wasn't until days later that he awoke. Nearly a mile from the epicenter, and still surrounded by desolation. Broken, Bloody, and more afraid then had ever been in his whole life. Aiden willed himself upright. Fear caused his adrenaline to surge, and blindly he rushed back into the still smoldering ruins.
Fear turned to desperation as he called out for his mate. Screaming out her name and even howling. No response came. He called out for his family members each by name. Again no response came, but he persisted till his voice box gave out from the overwhelming fumes and smoke. There was little to find that was not burnt to blackened nothing, and the still red coals burnt any bit of skin they could get to in his searching but he didn't fell any of it. This crazed, fatigued, broken creature was what Griffith and Ivan found when they finally ventured from the packs former lands. Were it not for days’ worth of pain wearing him down he might have actually put up a fight when they finally pulled him away from the Clans old home and back to their own. He could not remember once ever crying for her or the family he did lose, but he must have. The weeks that followed he drank little and ate less as his body healed the physical wounds.
It was months before Aiden ventured from his home, and days still after that before he finally spoke to either of the remaining boys. Hate was spread across his face in a manner fitting the poison racing though his veins. His first order to his companions. Hunting season was open. There were few creatures like him left in the forsaken town, and it seemed even less vampires, but with the were clans expert noses and unrelenting will they hunted each one down. A trend began to appear. Many didn't know anything about what that'd taken place, and the few that did, knew little about why it had broken out to begin with. Whatever the Hag had done it was wide reaching. Ivan and Griff were little help. Ivan being a rouge at the time hadn't been asked to join any sides, and Griff.. he was still a pup.
It didn't matter- at the end of the day the war was over and it no longer mattered why it had broken out. Aiden made the choice for all of Mactire Falls that all the were’s of the town had two choices. Join his pack so that he could keep them in check and insure that no war ever took place again, or die. Simplistic is always the best- granted few saw it his way, and many out right refused but the kind soft spoken boy that'd been taught to simply be a strong leader had died with Meg that night, and the response to refusal was out and knout brutal. Peace would rein, even if slaughter was its predecessor. He knew that it had not just been the wolves whom had caused this great tragedy however, and the hunting season was extended to the blood suckers as well.
Those that did not run were tore to shreds and to further the impact of his brutally he made sure to leave them for others of their kind to find. "Wolves" had always been quite the problem in the dark woods surrounding the town, many mistook the reports as being mutilated live stalk. It is a time that Aiden is not proud of, but one that had to take place. It was in these days that the name of the Clan was changed. No longer did I’latch and Seath lead Seluth, but Aiden dominated all of Mactire Falls with the new, blood thirsty Mαύρο Aναμέτρησης (Máv̱ro Anamétri̱si̱s) which in Greek meant Black Reckoning. They were the cleansing the little town of torment needed.. and cleanse they did, It took nearly five years to rein the last of the few were’s in but as their numbers decreased so did Aiden’s outright blood thirsty nature.
He took a job as the Hollow Wood's Forest ranger in an attempt to look busy for the town and have an excuse to patrol while he did it. The small Mαύρο Pack minded it's p's and q's in these quitter years, and he noticed that while Mac had once been Were and Vampire Mecka, now it was little more than a watering hole. Visits from outside the city were rare, and those that wandered the streets seemed.. subdued. Even Ivan and Griff seemed far less violent than he. It was a strange thing indeed. He attributed it to his over bearing tendency to squash any behavior other than quietly submission in those around him, and took it as a sign that he was finally in control. With this new control came a sense of public appreciation. They attribute Aiden's hard work in the woods to the decreasing number of mutilations and live stalk theft. They speak highly of his skills, though question his strangely cold demeanor and utter disinterest in the local women. Peace has reigned for the last ten years..
That was.. till about a month ago. There is a stirring in Mactire Falls. He can feel it in his blood, smell it in the air. New scents are moving back into the city. Some searching, others tucking themselves away to hide and he is not having any of it. Were's well drop to their knee before him and the vampires.. well.. they must chose to be civil- or feel his teeth the way others have. In all these long years Aiden still wears a worn out silver band on his ring finger and his shoulder bares the scare his mate gave him. The years of poisonous rage have worn at him, even with his immortal body making him actually look his age. It serves to keep the towns people from becoming suspicious of their distant but effective Ranger.

:: REASON :: Aiden is an accepted character of Mactire Falls already, however has become inactive. He is part of quite a big plot line, which we cannot do without him. Until Aiden returns, he will be referred to as a notable extra. :: ADOPTABLE :: No, not unless Aiden returns, in which case he will become a proper character again.
